General
Match Information:
Annual Club Championship
Match
Scheduled each Fall.
Entry fee - $10. Course of Fire:
Pistol - 5 shots standing (one-handed) at 25 yards & 5 shots
sitting (two-handed) at 50 yards, NRA Bullseye target, any centerfire
pistol with
iron sights.
Rifle - 5 shots standing offhand and 5 shots sitting at 200 yards at
life-size deer target, using any legal deer rifle with iron
sights or
scope set at 8x or less.
Shotgun - 20 shots at clay birds thrown from 2 traps to simulate
hunting situations. Any legal shotgun may be used.
Challenging but FUN! Come out and take your crack at bragging rights
for the next year!

1000 Yard Benchrest Open
Rifle Match
Usually the 1st Sunday of every month - check the calendar.
Entry Fee is $8, plus another $2 if you wish to keep your target.
Legal rifle is any rifle with any sights.
Course of fire is unlimited sighters and 5 shots for group and score.
Additional record strings may be fired with same rifle for $2 each
(limited sighters)

These matches are fired from a sheltered bench.
This is a relaxed shoot. We always welcome new faces, so come on out if
you want to give it a try. The current club record is a 3.125" group
scoring 50-3X, shot Aug 2, 2009 by Gary Paananen of Weiser.
High Power Sporting
Rifle Matches
Entry fee - $12 per match.
Legal rifle: Any center-fire rifle capable of holding 4 rounds
& weighing 9.5lbs or less including sights.
Course of fire = NRA High-Power Sporting Rifle Match, 200-yard,
standard high-power bullseye targets:
Prone, 2 sighters plus 8 for record within 10 minutes.
Standing, 8 shots for record within 8 minutes.
Sitting, 8 shots for record, two 4-shot strings, 30 seconds each.
Prone, 8 shots for record, two 4-shot strings, 30 seconds each.
Cash awards to match and class winners (3+ entries to a class).
USPSA Practical Pistol
Matches
Entry fee - Adults - $15, Juniors - $10; First match is free.
Available classes: Revolver, Production, Single Stack (1911),
Limited-10, Limited, and Open.
Round count is usually about 130 if you don't miss, so bring at least
150 rds.
For revolvers - bring 6 speedloaders. For Production, SS, & L10
- bring at least 4 magazines.
Each particpant shoots 4 stages plus the qualifier stage. Max rds per
stage is 32.
Minimum caliber = 9mm (.355).
All stages are run by NROI Certified Range Officers.
New faces are welcome at all matches, especially Ladies and Youth, so
come on out and give it a try!

3-Gun Matches
Entry fee - Adults - $25, Juniors - $15.
Typical equipment includes pistols (9mm - .45 autos), rifles:(.223 -
.308), and 12g semi or pump shotgun.
Round count: bring 75 rounds per gun.
Most targets are within 40 yards, but one rifle stage can reach to 500
yards.

Steel Varmint Match
Entry fee is $10 per match.
Legal rifle is any centerfire rifle, any sights, any rest. Rifle and
gear must be carried to the line in one trip without use of a sled or
cart. Front and rear rests are allowed.
No full metal jacket bullets please.
Course of fire: all prone
5 shots at 200 meters at steel squirrel (approx 2" x 5")
5 shots at 300 meters at steel rabbit (approx 3.5" x 9")
5 shots at 385 meters at steel rockchuck
5 shots at 500 meters at steel coyote
Time limit = 2.5 minutes allowed for each 5 shot stage
All proceeds go to PRSC for purchase of targets, etc.

Rock Chuck Varmint Match
Usually conducted each April - check the calendar.
Entry fee - $10.
Legal rifle is any rifle of .25 caliber or less, with any sights. Total
weight must be 12 lbs or less (including sights).
Course of fire:
10 shots at 200 yards - prone or sitting - slings allowed.
10 shots at 300 yards - prone - makeshift forearm rest or bipods
allowed.
Targets - Life-size rock chuck targets, center hits count 10 points
each, other body hits count 5 points each.
Targets will be pulled and shots marked after each shot.
Awards - Cash, up to 4 places.
Cowboy Action Shoots
Check the calendar for dates.
Entry fee - $10 per match.
Legal guns are single-action revolvers, lever action rifles,
double-barrel or Model 97 pump shotguns.
Ammunition - lead bullets only. NO EXCEPTIONS!
Course of fire: Various western scenarios; bring 50 rounds each for
pistol and rifle.
Western Dress is Encouraged!
Thanksgiving Family-Fun
Turkey Shoot
Entry fee - $3 per event, six shooters per relay.
Lucky 22
Event - fire a .22 rifle at a blank page at 10-yards. The
page has a numbered grid printed on the back, and the winner is the
lucky shooter who hit the highest number.
50-yard
Chickens - shooters fire one shot at each of 5 chicken
silhouettes at 50 yards. The winner is the shooter
with the most downed chickens. Use any centerfire pistol.
Running
Deer Event - a lifesize deer target travels along a cable
suspended over the range. Using any legal centerfire deer rifle,
shooters
fire two shots at the deer before it stops running. The shooter with
the high score is the winner.
200-yard
Turkey Heads - prone shooters fire 3 shots at 200-yard
Turkey Head silhouettes using any centerfire rifle. The winner is the
shooter who hits the most silhouettes.
The winner of each relay chooses his prize: 10lb turkeys, 10lb hams,
deli bacon, or beef roasts.
This event is great fun for the whole family. Depending on attendance
levels, separate youth and women's relays are established for each
event.
